Meditation Monday – Bring your Questions

There will be a guided meditation, talk, and a discussion.
I will also incorporate some of the latest neuroscience.
We will break from our regular book study and discussion sessions to take a pause. Please bring a topic that you would like to know more of or bring your questions.

There’s one woman in our community in Washington, and she’s a survivor– a breast cancer survivor. And she shared a conversation with a friend, a fellow survivor. Her friend asked her, “What would it feel like for you to think that something good was going to happen today rather than something not so good, or even bad around the corner? What would that be like?” And my friend responded, “Totally weird and uncomfortable.” And her friend said, “Good. Then try it.” In happiness research, one of the common denominators of those who consider themselves happy and our experiences happy is that there’s a choosing happiness. Choosing to be happy.
