Sunday Mindfulness Meditation Group

This Mindfulness Meditation Group meets every Sunday on Zoom from 9:30am-11:00am Pacific

Virtual mindfulness meditation,  talk, and discussion.

I will also incorporate some of the latest neuroscience.

No prior experience necessary. This is a gentle session open to beginners as well as advanced students.

I will give a talk and we will have a discussion on Chapter 9  -The 6 Kinds of Loneliness

To allow oneself to be carried away by a multitude of conflicting
concerns
to surrender to too many demands
to commit oneself to too many projects -even good ones,
to want to help everyone and everything
is itself to succumb to the violence of our times.
So to meditate is to step out of that  stream
that is carrying us too rapidly
that rushing stream and instead
to become that quiet pool that says yes we can move
and water can flow
and we can do what we need but we can do it from this place of presence.
